Indiana Glass Honeycomb round 2-handled bowl in olive green. This round relish bowl with 2 open handles in the 1960's olive green is the Honeycomb pattern. The handles are really pretty! Nice pattern and great retro color. This relish bowl is around 7 1/2 inch diameter and only stands 1 1/2
inches high. It is in mint condition - no cracks, chips or flakes. Sits level and nice shine.
The Indiana Glass Co in Dunkirk, Indiana was formed in 1908 after the demise of the National Glass Company, owner of the former Beatty and Brady Glass Company had gone bankrupt. Beatty - Brady Glass Co was the original company of the Dunkirk facility beginning operation in 1896 and was purchased by the National Glass Company in 1899 filing for bankruptcy in 1907. Indiana Glass Company was purchased by the Lancaster Glass Corp in 1957. Production ended at the Dunkirk factory in 2002.
